Density
-> The density measurements were conducted using the submerged mass method based on Archimedes’ principle. There was no fixed time allowed for water to soak into the samples during submerged weighing; instead, the process continued until bubbles stopped escaping, indicating full saturation. The samples were not evacuated prior to immersion, and they were not oven dried before density measurements were taken.

Magnetic Susceptibility
-> The magnetic susceptibility values are reported in SI units (×10⁻³) and are dimensionless, representing the ratio of magnetization. No external reference pads or standards were used to verify the measurements. However, geometric correction factors were applied through the KT-10 instrument's 'Measure Core' mode to account for the shape of drill core samples. Users are instructed to adjust the instrument settings to reflect any changes in core diameter or between core and chips. All measurements were performed on full core, not on split or cut surfaces. Typically, a single measurement was taken at each location unless there was suspicion of inaccuracy, in which case the measurement was repeated.
